1. WEAR PROTECTIVE GEARS
During all fases of setup and operation procedures, always wear proper body and respiratory protection such as:
Anest Iwata safety glasses, mask and gloves.
2. MAIN MAINTENANCE PROCEDURE
Reassemble the fluid nozzle tightening it manually into its seat.
3. TIGHTEN THE NOZZLE
Tighten it further clockwise with the universal spanner.
4. AIR CAP REASSEMBLY
Reassemble the air cap.
5. ALIGN AND TIGHTEN THE AIR CAP
Once reassembled, align the air cap horizontally and tighten it by hand.
6. INSERT AND TIGHTEN NEEDLE PACKING
Place the self-adjusting needle packing in its seat and tighten it manually.
7. LUBRICATE FLUID NEEDLE
Lubricate the fluid needle with a small amount of maintenance grease.
8. INSERT THE FLUID NEEDLE
Insert the lubricated fluid needle set carefully into its seat.
9. LUBRICATE FLUID NEEDLE SPRING
Lubricate the fluid needle spring with a small amount of maintenance grease.
10. LUBRICATE FLUID NEEDLE ADJ. KNOB
Lubricate the fluid needle adj. knob with a small amount of maintenance grease.
11. REASSEMBLE NEEDLE SPRING AND ADJ. KNOB
Reassemble in the following order: the needle spring and then the fluid adj. knob set.
12. GREASE TRIGGER SLIDE NEEDLE
Apply a small amount of grease to the fluid needle in the trigger slide area.
13. ADJUST FLUID NEEDLE PACKING
- Now attend to the adjustment of the fluid needle packing. Screw the needle packing nut tight by the spanner until the needle starts to stick.
- Once the needle sticks, unscrew the needle packing (counter-clockwise) until the needle just moves freely again.
14. TEST FLUID NEEDLE MOVEMENT
Check the smooth sliding of the fluid needle by pulling the trigger few times.
